About Adrienne Kmetz
Hi, I’m Adrienne!
A growth and content strategist that helps teams get to the next level.
For the past 19 years I’ve been helping companies strategize growth through marketing and content. I work closely with leadership and CEOs to look past the jargon and truly understand what works in your business.
Management Experience
Remote-first, people-first executive.
After 15 years of remote management and consulting for startups, I don’t think there is anything else I love more than developing high-performing teams, content strategy, and marketing flywheels.
I’ve worked in startups spanning from solar to B2B SaaS, across edtech, fundraising, customer rewards, and that one time I made some YouTube videos for a knitting supply store.
Management experience I’ll bring to your team:
-
Adrienne was a trailblazer in remote work, choosing to go remote-first at Finder US in 2016, well before it became widespread. From her cabin in rural San Diego, she built a high-performing, fully remote team, overcoming the challenges of recruiting on a startup budget. With no HR or recruiter, she created an entire recruiting and onboarding system, from writing job ads to training new hires. Her success in building a distributed team demonstrates her innovative approach to leadership and operations.
-
Adrienne excels at building ego-less, collaborative teams that thrive on psychological safety. By celebrating risks and mistakes, she ensures her team members feel safe to innovate and grow. Her focus on people development is central to her leadership philosophy—she’s a coach and empathetic supporter, always prioritizing individual and team growth. As a result, her teams consistently hit ambitious goals, with high retention rates and strong work ethics.

Adrienne’s ability to hit major metrics is a testament to her leadership. Her team at Finder US produced exceptional content that guided users through complex decisions. Known as the “best and hardest boss” by her reports, she sets high standards and holds her team accountable, achieving high manager ratings and strong results. Her knack for finding patterns in data and driving performance has been a cornerstone of her success.
I live on the western slope of Colorado with my two dogs. When I'm not making content or working on SEO, I spend my time skiing, climbing, gardening or hiking.
I like volunteering in my communities and everywhere I’ve lived I’ve been involved in the local land trust. As a board member with the Friends of Hellhole Canyon, I helped lead a campaign to acquire and protect 500 adjacent acres. I believe that conserving land is one of the highest leverage activities we can do today to protect future habitats.
I work with clients on a fractional basis. Contact me to learn more.
