As the 1st VP of Marketing, I built flywheels and optimized the foundations for all paid and non-paid efforts: Google Adwords, content marketing, Facebook ads, SEO, events, partnerships, community, email marketing and more.

The challenge from the CEO? Hit 12 months of goals in 6 months.

From July to August 2022, we doubled monthly signups from around 700 to 1500, and lowered CAC from $150 to $60. And this all with a team of 5, while our nearest competitor had 19 people in marketing. Scrappy? check. Prioritized? check. Data-driven? Hell yea.

With Giving Tuesday to go, we decided to go “all in” on helping nonprofits have a smashing holiday giving day, hosting a $50,000 gift giveaway, which led to a record number ($5M+) donations processed on Giving Tuesday alone.

I left the team after this sprint empowered, leveled up, and ready to take on new responsibilities.
